Absentee Voting
Absentee Voting by Mail:
If you will be away from Fauquier County on election day, or if you are unable to go to the polls because of illness or disability, you can vote by absentee ballot. Please email, telephone or fax your name and address and an absentee ballot application will be sent to you OR download the absentee
ballot application here. Completed absentee ballot applications can be returned by mailed to:

The completed absentee ballot application can be returned by fax to 540-349-4397.
The completed absentee ballot application must be received in the Registrar’s Office no later than 5:00p.m. the Tuesday before the election date to be able to mail you a ballot.
In-person Absentee Voting:
Begins daily at the above location 45 days before the November general election and 30 days before other elections.
Monday through Friday 8:00a.m. to 4:30p.m.
On the last Saturday before town, primary and special elections from 9:00a.m. to 5:00p.m.
On the last two Saturdays before November general election from 9:00a.m. to 5:00p.m.
NOTE: Normal in-person absentee voting ends at the close of business on the last Saturday immediately preceding the Tuesday election date.
