  • Resident of Fauquier County since 1999
  • Retired from the United States Air Force in the Grade of Lt. Colonel after 20 years of service
  • Served as Director, Executive Director, and Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Legislative Affairs from 1988 to 1992
  • Community Memberships include the Citizens for Fauquier County, Executive Director of the 10th Congressional District Republican Committee, Fauquier County Republican Committee, and former Secretary of the Land Trust of Virginia
  • Elected to the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors from the Center Magisterial District for the term 2008 through 2011; Serving as Vice Chairman in 2009; Elected to the Warrenton Town Council from Ward 4 for the term 2004 to 2008
  • Awards include Secretary of Defense Medal for Outstanding Public Service; Defense Superior Service Medal; Defense Meritorious Service Medal; Air Force Meritorious Service Medal (three oak leaf clusters); Air Force Commendation Medal
