- Community Memberships include the Citizens for Fauquier County, Executive Director of the 10th Congressional District Republican Committee, Fauquier County Republican Committee, and former Secretary of the Land Trust of Virginia
- Elected to the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors from the Center Magisterial District for the term 2008 through 2011; Serving as Vice Chairman in 2009; Elected to the Warrenton Town Council from Ward 4 for the term 2004 to 2008
