CONSIDER AN ORDINANCE TO CLASSIFY REAL PROPERTY OWNED BY FAUQUIER HOUSING
CORPORATION OR ITS WHOLLY OWNED SUBSIDIARIES AS EXEMPT FROM REAL PROPERTY
TAXATION
- In order to facilitate the provision of affordable housing to needy
citizens of the County, Fauquier Housing Corporation has requested that
certain properties be classified as exempt from taxation. The affected
properties, current assessments and 2005 taxes are as follows: PIN
#6983-59-5901 Assessment $182,000, taxes $858.34; PINs #6989-98-6307
($202,200) and #6989-98-5301 ($294,800) combined taxes $1640.44; PINs
#6899-32-4403 ($274,100) and #6899-32-5690 ($358,900) combined taxes
$4102.68; PINs #6989-97-6214 ($10,000), #6989-97-6199 ($10,000) and
#6989-97-6128 ($208,500) combined taxes $735.58. The fiscal impact of this
action based upon the prior assessment and tax rate would have been
