Forests on the Water’s Edge

Forests on the Water’s Edge, a great brochure on riparian forest buffers, has been published and is available. Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Virginia worked together to provide information on the importance of forest buffers, criteria for quality riparian forest buffers, forest buffer losses, riparian forest restoration, and what you can do for forest buffers.

Come into your local Soil and Water Conservation District office to pick up a copy. We will be glad to discuss riparian forest buffers and riparian forest restoration opportunities on your property.
