Farm Tour October 10th, 2009

14th Annual Fauquier Fall Farm Tour

The 2009 Fauquier Fall Farm Tour has six stops in the central region of the county. The self-guided tour is open from 10AM to 5PM, Saturday, October 10, 2009. Farm Tour brochures will be available at the Warrenton/Fauquier Visitors Center, Agricultural Development office and Virginia Cooperative Extension office. The brochures will also be available at any farm tour stop and on-line.

A great diversity of the county’s agriculture is demonstrated on the Farm Tour. Many farm animals can be seen on the tour including cows and calves, alpacas and hunting hounds. In addition, check out the county’s newest Farm Market and winery. Many other educational exhibits will be included. Food will be available at some locations.

NOTE: The Ashland Bassett Hounds will be at Avalon Farm from to 12 – 1PM on Saturday, October 10th.
