INSTRUCTIONS FOR REGISTERING A TRADE NAME

FEE: $10.00, payable by cash, check, or money order. Add $2.00 for each certified copy requested. Check should be made payable to the Clerk, Circuit Court of Fauquier County.

1. Fill out forms completely.
2. Have all signatures notarized.
3. Enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope for the return of your copy and the recording receipt.
4. Mail completed forms and payment to:

   ATTN: Recordings
5. Click on a form name to view and print:
   • Corporate Business Trade name application
   • Partnership Business Trade name application
   • Individual Business Trade name application
   • Certificate of Trade Name for Limited Liability Company(LLC)
   • Certificate of Trade Name for Limited Partnership(LP)
   • Certificate of Dissolution of Trade Name for Sole Proprietor or Partnership
   • Certificate of Dissolution of Trade Name for Business Registered with State Corp. Commission
