Purpose: |
Serves as a liaison between the center supervisor and the citizens of the community. The committee not only works to improve the site and future plans of the center but it also assists in promoting the value of leisure services, encourages volunteerism, develops additional funding opportunities, and establishes the center as a focal point for leisure services and community spirit. |

Provide information to the Board concerning any pending and/or enacted legislation that impacts the Board and/or department. Also the committee develops the annual legislative platform for the department and coordinates all actions and positions with the Board of Supervisors. |
