Projects

Connections Plan- Various aspects of the plan have been implemented, including creation of Pedestrian, Bicycle, and Greenway Advisory Committee: study of Safe Routes to School program: development and planning of additional trail segments; continued use of proffers for trail development; initiation of creation of standards for trail development.

Destinations Plan - The coordinated effort between the Town of Warrenton, Rappahannock Region commission, and Fauquier County to develop specifics for trails around Warrenton is nearing completion with the final draft due any day.

WBG History Manuscript – John Toler has refined a manuscript written by Travis Clements on the history of the Warrenton Branch. It is hoped that the manuscript can be printer this year as part of the County’s 250th Anniversary celebration.
